The Quarrymen's Barracks in Nantlle, built in the 1860s, were once home to the many slate quarrymen working in Dorothea Quarry. Since 2016 however, they have been our home and base, and where all our coffee is roasted, tasted and packed by hand.

Our Blend Y Barics is always designed to be a celebration of the best of what coffee can be throughout the seasons and harvests, complementing our seasons here in the UK. This winter’s Barics Blend is no exception, designed to taste just as good on a frosty morning from your coffee machine as from a flask warming you up on a crisp winter’s day. It’s bursting with flavours of juicy warm blackcurrant, apple crumble, cocoa, and pecan pie – some of the best things about winter!
This seasonal blend comes from two of our favorite producers of the last 12 months, both sourced expertly and carefully through the team at Falcon Specialty. Our popular house favourite ‘El Borbollon’ from El Salvador (the beans behind the magic whisky barrel aged process), gives this blend a rich, chocolatey warm base. This is combined with a delicious Rwandan washed coffee from ‘Nyungwe’, adding lovely bright fruity and juicy notes to give our Barics Blend a memorable taste that leaves you wanting more with every sip.
