Refund policy

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

If you are ordering in December for Xmas presents we are usually reasonable enough to take returns or swap sizes into late January to early February. Just get in touch.

Please choose carefully, and contact us if you have any queries before purchase (e.g. to discuss sizing issues) in order to minimise the environmental impact of sending products backwards and forwards needlessly.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

For on-line orders customers will have to arrange and pay for their own return postage. For warrantees, please see below. We suggest using a tracking service to make sure the items arrive back with us safely.

To start a return, you can contact us at info@rumdoodles.co.uk. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return may not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon arrival and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

 

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, coffee beans - ground or whole, loose-leaf tea, snacks etc), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), underwear, swimwear, jewellery and personal care goods (such as beauty products, soap etc). We also request vigilant cleanliness when trying on socks. We prefer not offer exchanges or refunds on socks - please check the sizing carefully before purchase. We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item. 

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on gift cards and certain sale items.

 

Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item. It is best to get in touch to ensure the exchange colour or size is available. We are happy to reserve items for you to exchange if stock levels are running low.

 

Warrantees
All our products come with a manufacturer’s warrantee. These warrantees vary from brand to brand and are offered by the brands themselves. Within the first year of purchase, we as the retailer are usually your first point of call to start any warrantee process to deal with faulty goods. Please note that the brands themselves often like to assess the product for faults and defects in manufacture themselves, so a reasonable time frame should be allowed for products to be assessed for warrantee. We make sure we sort out any issues as fast as humanly possible.

The customer should in the first instance pay for their own return postage. Once the item has been assessed and the warrantee approved, then we will refund the customers postage. So please provide evidence of the cost of return postage. Only reasonable postage charges will be refunded.

 

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
