The Fazenda Picada farm is situated in the Nova Resende region of Sul de Minas. It is owned and operated by the Madeira family. A family who have a deep and long nurtured relationship with coffee and coffee culture.
Marcelo Miguel Madeira, the owner and lead at Fazenda Picada is hands on in all aspects of coffee production on the farm, from soil nutrition through to harvesting. The farm being nestled in Nove Resende means that the very best of Brazil can be tasted in the cup, and upholds the reputation that the region has in the coffee world.
The farm process their own coffee post harvest to ensure quality is seen through to the end of the process, and you can expect notes of dried apricot, sticky cola sweetness, toffee and some lovely floral aromas.
